Jodi is passionate about equipping leaders to effectively manage conflict. Her work and research revolve around the intersections of conflict, leadership, and faith. She has a Master’s degree in Conflict Analysis and Management, teaches Conflict Management at Columbia Bible College in Abbotsford, BC, and is a Qualified Mediator.

Jodi’s an enthusiastic learner, a curious questioner, and a deep thinker. She firmly believes that conflict presents an opportunity to discern what truly matters to people and to initiate positive change. While conflict can be inherently overwhelming, Jodi believes that engaging the issues with curiosity can help people get “unstuck.”

Jodi facilitates change processes by partnering with leaders in organizations who are the experts of their own contexts. Her unique strengths are in perception and analysis, having the ability to take multi-faceted systems and engage them with simple processes without reducing or minimizing complexity. Through probing and deepening questions, Jodi seeks to facilitate insights that help individuals feel seen and understood amid their struggles.

With a background in pastoral ministries, her experiences have heightened her awareness of conflict in faith communities, while simultaneously deepening her passion to harness conflict for change.

Jodi also spent years as a college athlete which satisfied her competitive drive, and increased her ability to manage relational complexity. She’s grateful for the opportunity to serve as an assistant coach on her former team.

Raised on the prairies, she currently resides in British Columbia.
